Meeting this Week

Tonight’s meeting will be a free-for-all - we’re discussiong news and writing letters to the editor to support Doug McKillip.
Bring your thoughts about what’s going on in the world lately, and we’ll talk about it!

“Gail and Grub,” Activities Fair, and more!

Don’t forget about this Wednesday’s meeting in room 350 of the SLC.  This week, Secretary of State candidate Gail Buckner will be joining us.  The State Senate candidate for District 47, Mac Rawson, will also be speaking to us.  Food will also be provided.
We’ll also be collecting membership dues and selling tee shirts.  If you […]

Don’t forget - meeting this Wednesday!

This Wednesday, state senate hopeful Jane Kidd will be speaking with us.  She’s a longtime friend of our organization, and anyone who is interested in getting involved with the upcoming election should definitely attend.  Also, we’ll be having a discussion on what “Sonny didn’t” do in his four years in office.  I think we’ll be […]

Ideas for upcoming meetings?

First, the turnout for this week’s meeting was awesome.  Only a few empty chairs in the entire room.  Thank you to all of those that attended.  Also, thank you Doug McKillip for coming to speak to us and getting everyone energized about the upcoming elections.  Everyone should try and help out with Doug’s campaign.
We want […]

Calendar Updates

I just added some new dates to the calendar - a bunch of campaigning information and dates, as well as the Stonewall meetings and information on the Student Activities Fair. Take a look!

Thoughts on first meeting?

This week we recapped what happened this summer within our organization and highlighted some key state races. Novemeber is only a couple of months away! We also had “Dem of the Week” and members got to know each other a little better by talking about an issue they feel strongly about.
What did you […]
