For those of you who just joined us over the summer at orientation, let me be the first to welcome you to Athens and UGA. We’re excited you’ve shown an interest in the Young Democrats. I hope you’ll find our organization to be an exciting and engaging force in campus and community politics.

For our returning members, we look forward to seeing you again and catching up with you after what I hope was a great summer.

Our FIRST MEETING will take place this Wednesday, August 22, in Room 214 of the Student Learning Center from 6:00-7:00 PM. We will have pizza and drinks and will be catching on summer activities and issues. Also, be ready to come talk with us about issues that matter to you and ones that you’d like us to discuss as a group in the coming year.

We have a fantastic, energetic executive committee that is ready to help you in whatever way you need. They are:
